Science laboratories:
SPS has well equipped science laboratories, for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, in all its sections. A very conducive scientific environment has been created in these labs. which nourishes the love for scientific research among the students and thus acts as a launching pad for future researchers. The hands-on experiments are demonstrated and practically conducted to the students to further substantiate and facilitate the theoretical knowledge gained during class hours. Since the apparatus in these labs is very sensitive and fragile and the chemicals may be hazardous, therefore, students are advised not to:
· Enter any laboratory unless the lecturer/demonstrator is present inside.
· Leave any laboratory without permission of the lecturer/demonstrator, even if the assignment is over.
· Leave the used apparatus in the untidy and dirty condition.
· Indulge in any play or physical exuberance causing breakage of apparatus or glassware.
· Fiddle with chemicals and apparatus, which is not a part of the practical.
Computer Labs:
This fact needs no emphasis that an era of high technology, with computer playing a pivotal role, is knocking at the doors of Pakistan also. In this time of sophistication, more intense competitions are expected to take place in each field, testing the mettle of even the most astute and able students. Apart from this, now a days even a fully educated person is considered as illiterate if he is not having adequate computer literacy. To cope with such a situation, it is very essential that computer training for children be made an integral part of their early education. It is heartening to note that SPS management has a clear vision about this need and has already established computer labs in all its sections equipped with latest model Computers.
In addition to specific theoretical course work in the relevant software technologies, students get hands-on experience on these computers, under the guidance and instruction of capable Computer Instructor.
