An SPS model for nurturing the habit of honesty, a very recent statistics has revealed that on average a Pakistani child is comparatively more exposed to blizzards of sermons and preaches than the children of his age group residing in other countries. Throughout his academic career, a Pakistani student is constantly kept under the umbrella of advices on how to lead an honest and pious practical life. No facet of his personality is deprived of getting sermonization, which is largely done, in home by his elders, teachers in school and religious scholars in media and worship places.

    Yet, ironically, the incidents of dishonesty, financial corruption and inefficiencies are more frequent in our society and these too are mostly committed by our so-called educated elites. It appears that all good advices and sermons are either forgotten or lose their meanings as soon as a student steps in his practical life and assumes some authority or responsibility as a public servant. It is a regrettable aspect of our nation that barring a few individuals, majority of us (whenever finds an opportunity) can not resist the temptation to mint money by every fair and unfair means. To address this issue with a novel procedure, SPS has boldly initiated an innovative experiment to promote an inbuilt ability among the students to practice honesty in their daily affairs without verbal persuasions and thus to become automatically habituated to adopt good moral norms in practical life.

    An unattended and unsupervised mini tuck shop with items of daily use, has been established at SPS premises where students can come freely and shop for their required items by picking the item and placing the cash amount equivalent to the price of selected item in the prescribed place. This experiment is running in a very smooth manner and the impacts of this small but novel exercise are clearly visible in the routine dealing of the students and hopefully it will go a long way in shaping their practical life also.
